Sandbaai Ward Councillor Hybre Lombard's public announcement of her plans to move forward with her Kus Road project.

This was the first notice that the project would include making the Kus Road a one-way.

Cllr. Lombard states that the proposal was first introduced to the mayor in September 2022. She states that it was presented in a public meeting by Robbie Roberts and Johan van Schalkwyk.

In previous communications she had stated that it was presented by the Sandbaai Ratepayers Association. When that association objected strongly, she changed the claim. Numerous requests have been made over several month for Cllr. Lombard to produce minutes of the meeting where the proposal was allegedly presented, but none have been produced.
