Municipal Manager Dean O'Neill issued an update on the Kus Road project.

Mr. O'Neill had held a brief online poll asking people if they support or do not support the Kus Road project, following many complaints from Sandbaai residents. The majority response was against the project.

Mr. O'Neill dismissed the results as not representative enough. He refers the matter back to the ward councillor responsible for the project in the first place. He stresses that the ward committee has already decided the matter. It is worth noting that the ward committee vote took place while the OM had stated they were investigating three seats on the committee for disqualification as well as the official chairing the meeting.
