The Sandbaai Community Voluntary Improvement District(SCVID) held its first public meeting on 26 March 2026. Since its formation in March 2025, the SCVID has been so focused on community projects that we had not had time to hold regular meetings.
The meeting began with information on the SCVID and then presentations were made by several groups that the SCVID works with to improve Sandbaai.:

- Sandbaai Ratepayers Association
- Schulphoek Action Group
- Sandbaai Seniors
- Sandbaai Environmental
