A PAIA request was made for all meeting minutes from 2021 to October 2025 for the Safety & Security ward committee group. The group was asked to supply all minutes retroactively. They were unable to supply any minutes of any meetings for their group.

Instead of meeting minutes for the elected group "Safety & Security", they submitted minutes from Sandbaai SRA steering committee starting in November 2024. These meetings were private, with 4 people attending. Also submitted were 2 public meetings of the Sandbaai SRA steering committee. None of these meetings discuss Safety & Security. The Sandbaai SRA steering committee was not on the 2021 ballot for Ward 7.
